Well, it's been awhile since a report, so here it goes. The sailfish bite the past few weeks has been great.

We've had steady shots at anywhere from six to a dozen fish everyday. Last week we caught at least two every trip, and caught four in a half day. They have mainly been in shallow chasing ballyhoo, so the casting has to be fast and accurate. Most everyone is getting the hang of it after a few tries. I even had a charter catch about a 40lb. wahoo on a 15lb. spin outfit! It was a riot and gave him everything he wanted. The snapper bite has remained great even with the drop in water temperature. Nice big mangroves have been chomping the pilchards as fast as you can get it to them. We've had our limit pretty much everytime we go out. Well, I'll ACTUALLY try to get back in the habit of doing a weekly report. So, Until Next Time....Capt. Jeff
