The past few weeks we've seen a great bite for big king mackerel.

They have just been a blast on 15lb. test. We've been catching our limit of two per person, with lots of others being released most days. This past week we caught most of our bigger fish on the kite using bluerunners. It's quite a show watching a big king crash the bait right on the surface. We've caught a few big blacktip sharks also, which is also a great show on the kite. The spanish mackerel have been chomping well also, along with a few nice big cero mackerel. The mangrove snapper have been pretty good also, along with the yellowtails. The sailfishing this past week has been pretty slow. We sailfished earlier this week, and raised three fish. Unfortunately we didn't get any of them to the boat. We did however, catch five heavy lifter schoolies to fill in the gaps. We also had a ton of bite offs from kings, and also released a dozen or so kings. Well, Until Next Time....Capt. Jeff
