Well, do I suck or what?! I didn't realize it's been this long since I wrote a report.

I've been mainly fishing offshore for dolphin (mahi mahi) the past few weeks. It's been pretty steady, with some big fish here and there. Almost everyone I can think of has gone home with some good stories, and lots of great eating fillets in the cooler. We caught a nice blue marlin a few weeks while trolling for mahi mahi. It weighed around 250+ pounds, and put up a great fight on 40 lb. test. For some reason I haven't seen a lot of wahoo this year. You here of someone catching a small on now and then, but that's about it. I fished out in the bay one day last week and it was great. Lots of goliath groupers, runners, jacks, snapper, and even a cobia. The water was a little dirty, and we didn't see any permit. Well, that's about it for now. Until Next Time....Capt. Jeff
